Policies

Below is a condensed summary of booking rules and of the Terms & Conditions that persons agree to when creating a booking. When creating your booking, please read the procedures and policies in full at https://film411.ampd.yorku.ca/wp-content/uploads/sites/1200/2020/02/Final-Studio-and-Equipment-Regulations.pdf

1. Equipment checkout is only available to registered students actively enrolled in CMA Production or MFA stream courses for approved course work. Equipment is not available for rent.

2. All booking requests should be made at least 3 business days in advance. The student name on the online booking request is responsible for check-out and check-in of their equipment. 

3. Upon receiving and checking equipment for pick-up, the student accepts full responsibility for any loss or damage of the items received and acknowledges the condition under which the items have been provided to them.

4. CMA reserves the right to cancel, deny or amend bookings to equipment if deemed necessary.

5. Any student with questions about equipment or a booking can reach out to the Equipment room in the CFT, Room 136, or by emailing sadamson@yorku.ca.
